So, I promised I'd try the Rockabilly look and here it is! Lord almighty, the cat eye is no easy peezy! To get both eyes symmetrical and the right thickness - whew. I love doing hair and makeup though. I would honestly do it on the side if I could. I'm the girl who does her friends hair and makeup before we go out. And I love it! Ok, enough blabberin' here is what I used/did.
Start off with a fresh face.
Apply moisturizer.
Apply concealer.
Set with translucent powder.
Prime my eyelids with concealer.
Apply cream color shadow all over lid.
Feather in a medium brown, not too dark, in the crease.
Apply jet black gel eyeliner.
Apply accent or half lashes.
Go over eyeliner one more time for dramatic effect.
Apply mascara.
Sweep cheeks with blush.
Apply red lipstick.
Go over with a red gloss.
And voila! You're done!
Don't be afraid to try it out, just have fun with it! This look is one of my absolute favorites. The key is concentrating on the eyes and lips to pop. I ran out of my white eyeliner, so next time I'm trying it with that and full lashes, as well with the accents.
