sugar, spice, and everything nice

With it being the holiday season, I've been wanting to try out this "holiday inspired" facial mask. It's called the "miracle" face mask, and lord knows my skin needs a miracle lately. I deal with hormonal acne around my chin. That's the only area I really have to treat when I breakout. The most annoying part is treating the acne scars that I've acquired from past breakouts.

I've never tried the natural method, so I thought why not give a shot? Nutmeg is supposed to be the "it" spice for treating acne scarring.

grab your daily cleanser and moisturizer
you want to start with a clean face
your three ingredients (i only had clover honey, organic is probably the best)
 get a little mixing bowl
 clean that face, girrrl!
add your spices, then add your honey
mix until you get a thick paste consistency
look in the mirror and think wtf?! this looks nothing like the picture
let this crap (no pun intended) sit on your face for 30 minutes

You may want test a patch of your skin before you put this all over your face. Some people have sensitive skin and may have a bad reaction to the spices since nutmeg is so strong. Another option you have is to substitute the honey with milk. I guess the milk supposedly reacts better with the nutmeg, making it a stronger paste. I'm going to try milk next time. If you do use milk, you're only supposed to leave it on for 20 minutos instead of 30.
Enjoy!
