Wow, wow, and more wow! In exactly 10 days, one of my best friends is

GETTING MARRIED!!!

I can't believe her big day is almost here. I've had a countdown app on my computer going the day she got engaged. I remember seeing 300 some days on the counter and kept thinking, "COME ON ALREADY!" Well, now it's literally right around the corner. It's next Saturday and I couldn't be more excited! All of us bridesmaids being together, getting our hair done, drinking mimosa's, doing our make-up, and making sure Rach gets down the aisle in one piece... I cannot wait!

I have known Rach ever since freshman year of high school. We sure have had some crazy times together these past 10 years! We have also shared some sad times as well. Her fiancé, Chris, is in the Marines and spent 5 months in Iraq back in 2009. Anyone who has family or significant others in the military, know what a nightmare that can be. But, Chris couldn't have proposed at a better time. He proposed the day before he was leaving for Iraq! That definitely helped the absence period move along a lot faster because she had all the wedding planning to look forward to! Oh, and I guess her gorgeous rock to look at every morning :) 

These two couldn't be at a better place in their lives right now. Chris just ended his active duty, they recently moved into their OWN place, both have good jobs, and are exactly where they wanted to be - Washington, D.C. I am so happy for the both of them and couldn't be more honored/happy to be a part of their big day!
