I saw this on Alex's blog yesterday and totally meant to do it, but forgot. Oops. So why not do it today? :)
1. One of my happiest moments ever was knowing my grandma was perfectly okay after having her heart valve replacement surgery. She is now healthier than ever!
2. Summer is wedding season and weddings are AMAZING! I was just in my first wedding this past May for my good friend, Rachael. I also have my cousins wedding to look forward to on September 17th with my whole family. He is the first one getting married out of 20 some cousins! I'm super excited.
3. This summer is flying by! I can't believe it's about to be August. It has been a good summer so far. Not as crazy as previous summers, but maybe it's because I'm growing up and meeting new people.
4. My summer food of choice has been a lot of grilling out. Steaks, fish, burgers, chicken, shrimp, etc. I have also been eating a ton of fruit. Mangos are my absolute favorite in the summer!
5. My summer uniform has been sundresses, skirts, and tanks. I'm not really a huge shorts girl. I just love sundresses because they are so cute and comfortable. I still like to wear cut-offs with a simple t-shirt and chucks though.
6. If I could spend the entire summer in one location I would choose California. I've never been there and have always wanted to go/live there. Preferably the Santa Monica area.
7. My summer anthem is "Give Me Everything Tonight" by Pitbull if we're going out, if I'm just relaxing and in a country mood, "Dirt Road Anthem" by Jason Aldean, "Pumped Up Kicks" by Foster The People, "Money Grabber" by Fitz & The Tantrums, and I'm really liking "Little Bad Girl" by David Guetta ft. Taio Cruz & Luda right now. I'm obsessed with music, so of course I can't just have one.
Oh man, grilling is summer personified. If you ever think of summer, you think of grilling :)
