Life Is Good

This is the first time in awhile that I can honestly say that I'm content with everything in my life right now. I had a huge talk with one of my really good friends, Jess, about it all. She is three years older than me, so she has always been like a big sister. We were talking about how it's so weird to see yourself grow in life. You don't see yourself go through the actual transition, it just kind of happens. From cutting people out of my life who only brought me down, growing out of the phase of putting friends before family, being totally okay with being single, and just recently having a greater appreciation for certain things in life. It sounds so cheesy, but it is a great feeling to see yourself grow up and mature. Another great thing about growing up is losing all the insecurities that are common to have when at a certain age. Who gives a crap what other people think of you! At the end of the day it never matters. If you know that you are a good person, more than likely this person is just jealous that you have certain traits that they wish they had. Gaga couldn't have said it better,
"I'm beautiful in my way, cause God makes no mistakes, I'm on the right track baby, I was born this way."
Might as well start loving yourself now because if you don't then who will? It carries through in so many different aspects of life. Your own self-esteem and confidence, your friendships, your relationships, in the work place, and how other people perceive you in general.

Life is good right now. I have the best family in the whole world. They love me with all they have and support me in anything I do. I have the greatest friends a girl can ask for. Most of all, I'm at a really exciting time in my life. I just graduated college this past December and am ready to start this next chapter in my life. I just recently interviewed with an awesome marketing agency in Cleveland that went good and I'm following up with them next week. I'm really excited and hope something works out in my favor because I would be doing what I love to do.

Next time you find yourself complaining about petty and mundane things in life, take a step back. How bad do you really think you have it? More than likely in many cases, you don't. There is one thing, one simple little thing that can change everything in life and how you see it. Your ATTITUDE. Try changing that and you will be surprised at how you look at life.

"Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But, if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."
-Conan O'Brien
